Like much of the rhetoric that comes out of the Bush administration these days, this strikes me as perfectly true, albeit not in the way the speaker intends. We will need to sacrifice tax cuts, corruption and war profits in order to create a world with hope for our descendants. Or we will create a world with a hateful American empire with its military forces centered in the Middle East.
